Border Patrol

The start of guarding the U.S and Mexico border was beginning to be established in 1904. In 1915, the efforts to start increasing security on the border were put on the shoulders of Mounted Guards. These guards patrolled on boats, horseback, and cars along with walking. This allowed more land to be covered in less time. In 1952, illegal immigrants were allowed to be located and searched anywhere in the U.S.

I believe the efforts being put into border patrol are good but they need to be stepped up. Illegal aliens are stealing our low paying jobs because they are willing to work for so cheap and so many hours just to earn a quick buck which is hurting our economy. They are also bringing in drugs and weapons which in the total effect is really "killing" many millions of people each day in the United States. If we can step up our border patrol I think our country will become a lot safer.

The debate between guns in the last thirty years or so has been huge.  Many people think they should be banned because many gangs use them to kill eachother.  There are also pleople that think they shouldn't be banned because they can help save themselves from dangerous situations.  I believe they should not be banned.  Many people need them for hunting which a lot of people like to do because it is one of their hobbies.

Guns are not weapons most of the time they are just like an ordinary screw driver.  It is just the way you use them and the way you choose to shoot the bullet.  The most responsiblility of a gun is the person who owns it.  Many people can use them bad ways like killing people or poaching endagered animals.  Many people do not use them they way the should use them and this is why i think everyone should have to get a permit if they can carry one or use one.

No matter what guns will not stop violence. There are many other weapons that people can use to hurt someone else.  Guns just make it easier for a person to hurt another alot easier.  I believe that people who use guns to hurt others should be punished very harshly.  I believe they should have to go to counseling and go to jail for a while to really show them that guns are not the way to do things nowadays.  The government is very strong and has a good system of helping people that are innocent and making the people that do it pay the price.
